So what are the questions that can arise for an afternoon wedding?
Short time problem: usually not true. Assuming that if you have chosen to get married in the afternoon it is probably because the situation allows it, weddings in the afternoon are as perfectly feasible as those of 12 hours with a ceremony at eleven in the morning. What you want is to have a fun day with friends and family, so you can really choose to do what you want. You can have a big buffet without dinner, or you don’t want group photos because you prefer those while dancing with a drink in hand!
When NOT to get married in the afternoon: if you have big trips DO NOT organize a wedding in the afternoon. The times for the transfers, especially if they are long. they go to steal precious hours from your day. To avoid rushing things, don’t overdo it.
If you have a lot of guests and maybe a limited budget, don’t risk a mediocre result to have all the guests all day long: your friends will understand!
At the same time, if the location of the couple service is different from that of the reception, you will have to charge at least an hour between one transfer and the other, and this will mean having a buffet that lasts at least two. And if there are other movements involved, finding the time to do everything will be difficult!
