I can hardly believe it is a few hours to 2010! I have been reflecting with gratitude this past year. Last January was full of anticipation and trepidation for me with this business. I had just put in my resignation at my part-time job with only one possible wedding for 2009. The previous summer was a whirlwind…we were planning on moving across the country to the Washington D.C. area (my husband was accepted to law school there) and I had passed aside all possible bookings for 2009. So, I took the leap of faith and continued on this journey of photography and running a business. I opened up my tightly clenched fist and let go of anxiety & fear and waited. In my heart I had decided that if this whole photography thing was God’s plan for me, with some elbow grease, the work would come. And it did. I feel like I am living my dream…I absolutely love what I do and feel so beyond blessed. Thank you to all my clients who made this year so memorable and fantastic. I am so grateful to have met and experienced your wedding or photo session in our time together.
On the business side of things…my web galleries will be down for a week or so. I am implementing a beautiful new one- thank you for your patience!
Also…..if you haven’t noticed, I have been a little MIA in the blogging department! So in January, I have 9 posts coming your way…and my new year’s resolution is to post them by February!
And better late than never….here is our Christmas card….hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and here’s to a bright and promising 2010!
